July 15: Entrepreneurial Opportunities in New Mexico’s Space Industry

Space-related federal spending in the State of New Mexico is $1.5 billion annually. Join us to learn about the diverse NM space industry ranging from the state-sponsored Spaceport America to federal programs at Kirtland AFB’s Air Force Research Lab and the dozens of active space research projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Our keynote speaker will be Harrison “Jack” Schmitt, former NASA astronaut and New Mexico U.S. Senator from 1977 to 1983. Dr. Schmitt was one of the last two Apollo astronauts to set foot on the moon and is an outspoken critic of the current NASA strategy.

We are delighted to be hosting this event at the Albuquerque Balloon Museum. The Museum is celebrating its 5th anniversary in October with new special exhibitions and events.
