Join us to learn about the diverse NM space industry ranging from the state-sponsored <a target="_blank" href="http://www.spaceportamerica.com/">Spaceport America</a> to federal programs at Kirtland AFB&#8217;s Air Force Research Lab and the dozens of active space research projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. <strong>Our keynote speaker will be <a title="Read more on Mr. Schmitt's Wikipedia page" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrison_Schmitt" target="_blank">Harrison &#8220;Jack&#8221; Schmitt</a>, former NASA astronaut and New Mexico U.S. Senator from 1977 to 1983</strong>.  Dr. Schmitt was one of the last two Apollo astronauts to set foot on the moon and is an outspoken critic of the current NASA strategy.</p>
