Please join us for the first Coronado Ventures Forum event of the year! The March 30th event will be hosted at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe , starting at 5:30pm with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a full bar. This event will focus on the creative entrepreneurial community in New Mexico.  Our panel will feature Vince Kadlubek, co-founder and CEO of Meow Wolf, Alice Loy of Creative Startups, a startup accelerator designed for creatives using creative technologies, and Amanda Solosky, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Rival Theory.  Senior CVF Board Member and accomplished investor/founder, Francine Sommer, will moderate a panel discussion focused on experiences in fundraising, sources of available capital and business model creation for the creative community.

Amanda Solosky

Amanda Solosky is an Albuquerque native, UNM MBA graduate, and frontier technology enthusiast. Alice Loy

Alice Loy is a Co-founder of Creative Startups and widely considered a leading authority on entrepreneurship in the creative economy.  Dr. Loy created the Creative Startups Accelerator with a vision for catalyzing high growth company formation in the under-served creative economy.

A sought-after speaker on topics ranging from developing creative economy ecosystems to investing in the creative economy, Alice frequently travels to Europe, Asia, and Latin America to work with entrepreneurs and economic development leaders.  Alice has lived and worked in Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, and China.  She holds a PhD in Strategic Communication and Entrepreneurship and an MBA.

Vince Kadlubek

Vince leads a team of 120+ artists in Santa Fe, NM to produce an unprecedented, immersive art experience that will disrupt the art world’s existing paradigm and open the artistic experience to people of all socio-economic backgrounds.  Meow Wolf continues to grow and expand, beyond New Mexico.

Francine Sommer (moderator)

CEO & Founder of Oculus Media Inc.

Francine is a CVF Director since 2006, CEO and founder of Oculus Media Inc., and a strategic advisor to early stage start-ups.
Francine is Special General Partner of Village Ventures. She is a founder of the predecessor to newyorkangels.com and is a past President of the Venture Investors Association of NY.  She was formerly Senior Vice President, Head of the Angel Funds Group, Wit Capital, General Partner, Gabelli Multimedia Partners, Managing Director, First Security Management, President of 655 Associates and Vice President, Research & Science Investors.  She has served on the boards of several non profits including The Lensic Performing Arts Center and Lang College, The New School. Ms. Sommer is a graduate of the Columbia Business School.
